The Federal Supreme Court (STF) made defendants over 200 defendants involved in the coup acts of January 8. On that occasion, vandals destroyed the headquarters of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Congress and the Planalto Palace. The virtual judgment score was finalized around 11 pm, with eight votes that fully followed the rapporteur, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, for the full receipt of the complaints. André Mendonça and Nunes Marques partially disagreed with the rapporteur and accepted the accusation only for the accused who participated in the depredation, not including those who were arrested at the Army barracks, in Brasília, the day after the acts. Due to the retirement of Ricardo Lewandowski, the Court does not have the vote of the 11th minister. So far, 300 investigated have become defendants after the Court’s decision. About 1,300 people were denounced to the Supreme by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR). In addition to the rapporteur, ministers Dias Toffoli, Edson Fachin, Gilmar Mendes, Luís Roberto Barroso, Cármen Lúcia, Luiz Fux and the president, Rosa Weber, voted to receive the denouncements.
