Petrobras informed, on the night of this Monday (12), that next Friday (16) it will pay the second installment of supplementary dividends to shareholders. Dividends refer to fiscal year 2022, based on the shareholding position on April 27 of this year, in accordance with the material fact disclosed to the market on that date. The value per share of the dividends will be corrected by the economy’s basic rate (Selic) from December 31 of last year until the 16th of this month, according to monetary restatement calculations. The amount per common and preferred share already adjusted by the Selic rate will total R$ 0.92692932. The amount corresponding to the monetary restatement will be subject to income tax at the rate of 22.5%, in accordance with current legislation. Dividends not claimed within a period of three years, starting from the payment start date next Friday, will expire and revert in favor of the company, according to Petrobras. Payment will be made by Bradesco, the depository institution for the book-entry shares issued by Petrobras. All shareholders whose records are duly updated will have their rights automatically credited to their bank accounts on the payment date. For holders of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), payment will take place from the 23rd of this month through JP Morgan Chase, the depositary bank for Petrobras ADRs.
